Okay... I gotcha. It just threw me off because I thought the way you phrased the question, you were asking if you could 3D print a train with the graffiti on it. Which doesn't seem possible.Google found this :
3D printed railway models, part II: Trains and buildings - Original Prusa 3D Printers
In the previous article, we showed how to create a basic landscape suitable for model railways. However, what about trains, buildings, people and other details that bring the landscape to life? Let us show you how to enhance your model railway...blog.prusa3d.com
It should be possible to make them with 3d printer, if you find the right files.. And maybe they will be smaller, not sure. But i feel like this could save some money.. if u have a printer of course.
I used to do model trains when I was a kid, and still love the art, even though I don't want to do it myself any more (it's why I have the ones I have that already have pieces on them... which I really need to get off my ass and photograph and post here).
I have no real desire to get back into that hobby (which is expensive AND takes up a ton of space). But I have thought for years about doing a papercraft diorama in HO or O scale of a single train yard under a highway bridge and making tons of train cars and semi trailers and other stuff to switch out that I could draw graff on. It's been a little thought of mine, but I don't have the space for what I estimate would take like five or six feet by at least three or four feet. So, it just hasn't happened. Maybe one day. I love the idea. I could get people to draw up other cars and stuff and then I would assemble them and feature them on the diorama. I am obsessed with full sheet sticker paper so I could do full pieces, cut them out and apply them on the walls and stuff.
Anyway...
