Well... I just had a needle rammed in my fucking eyeball, and now I have a lava-lamp of black clouds floating around in my eye and a tiny black dot where the needle went in.
AMA!
The doctor said both of those would go away in 24 hours. Right now, I want to rub my eye so badly and I can't. And have an unshakable fear of sneezing.
Also, they dilated only that eye, so it is extra, extra disorienting.
I was sitting on a park bench waiting to be picked up and the black clouds went WHOOSH upward like a wave and I nearly fell out of the bench. No pain. Lots of discomfort and blurry vision and my eyelid is still sticky.
Also...
Let's answer the most obvious question first.
Macular Edema in my right eye, treated by a retinal surgeon.
It wasn't a dare, or anything like that.
And in a few minutes, I head to Florida (not driving).
