Did my first digital on my phone since the phone came with a stylus pen. Talk about swearing..it was brutal. Each layer per letter. Seperate layer for color, 3D and sparkles. Kudos to people that actually have it under control. The only thing good about digital is you can copy and paste and save on art supplies, but I rather stick to the oldschool way!

What program was that done in? I use Procreate and it is fantastic! And VERY easy to use. None of the nightmare you described...

The program is called Penup. Maybe it's just a learning curve for now, to perfect a letter. The stylus and screen is smaller than my regular pencil/apple pen or tablet so that also make it uncomfortable. Oh well I can't complain, I have to suck it up and practice!

I will say that I didn't make the jump to Procreate until I bought an iPad with a very large screen and an Apple pencil. The total bill was around $1500 which I can see being pretty steep.

At the time, I got a check from the government for my Disability back-pay and that helped immensely. I imagine most people will consider that a pretty big barrier to owning this set-up.
